Prof. Dr. Holger Borcherding
Professor Dr. Holger Borcherding studied electrical engineering at the University of Hannover and received his doctorate there in 1999. Until 2003 he was Head of the Servo Controller Development at the Lenze Drive Systems GmbH, Hameln. In 2003 he was appointed Professor for power electronics, electric drives and EMC at the University of Applied Sciences Ostwestfalen-Lippe. His research field comprises electric drive technology and the EMC of power electronics.
Since 2011, in addition to holding a professorship, Professor Borcherding is responsible for the technical management of the Innovation at Lenze SE. He coordinates the internal and external research activities and represents Lenze in working groups of the IEC and trade associations.
